I recently moved across the ocean for my postdoc. A lot has happened. Maybe once everything is settled a little bit more I'll write something related to the move here.

I like biking, especially in combination with geocaching. There are lots of caches in the east bay and I hope to do as many as I can in my time here.
Recently I discovered the SF bay trail for biking. Very enjoyable. Has some cool geocaches!

Most of my work time during the week I spend in a spectroscopy lab wearing laser goggles. That's roughly what the world looks like through this protective eyewear.
